What are the different types of Refrigerators?

Side by Side Refrigerators - Side by Side Refrigerators have a left and right door.  Typically the left door is smaller and contains the freezer.  The right door is larger and contains the refrigerator portion of the appliance.

Lower Freezer Refrigerators - Refrigerators with an upper refrigerator portion and a lower freezer portion have gained popularity in recent years.

Upper Freezer Refrigerators - Refrigerators with an upper door freezer are the most common type of refrigerator produced.

French Door Refrigerators - French Door Refrigerators have an upper refrigerator section with a left and right door.  The bottom portion of the unit is a pull out freezer drawer.  As the freezer portion is typically used less frequently than the refrigerator portion the elevated refrigerator section is more ergonomic.

Built in Refrigerators - Built in refrigerators are faced with matching cabinetry to blend into the kitchen design rather than contrasting as with most other appliance styles.

Mini Refrigerators - Mini Fridges work well in small offices or dorm rooms to keep a small amount of food cold. Some compact refridgerators have a freezer section in addition to the refrigerator compartment.

Thermoelectric Refrigerators - DC powered thermoelectric coolers produce either cooling or heating using heat pump technology.

Outdoor Refrigerators - Outdoor fridges are generally used on patios near outdoor grilles.  Most outdoor refrigerators are smaller and need to be made of materials that will handle the outdoor weather conditions.
